Plastic jugs, cups and measuring spoons for supply to the NDS (National Distribution Centre)

1 Plastic Jugs 750ml Capacity with coloured lids

To supply plastic jugs to be used for providing drinks to patients. These jugs are to come with different coloured lids to aid staff via a “traffic light system” to aid the monitoring of patients who may need to be monitored for fluid intake the lid colours are red, amber, green and blue. The jugs are to be plastic and have a capacity of 750ml. We envisage awarding one supplier to this lot as a Sole Award.

2 Medicine Measure - 30ml & 60ml

To supply plastic non sterile medicine measure cups in two sizes, 60ml and 30ml for the dispensing of drugs and medicines to patients. These cups should have graduations on them to aid the measuring of liquids. We envisage awarding one supplier to this lot as a Sole Award.

The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) (‘the Authority’) acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement of Sampling & Measuring Containers (‘Products’) on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS Organisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Join Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively hereafter referred to as ‘Participating Authorities’), where applicable and Scottish Hospices. The estimated values referred to in Section II.1.5 and 11.2.6 covers the 48 months contract duration as there are no extension options. The buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this ITT exercise.
