Level 3 Community Dermatology service that offers advice and guidance, first appointment, follow up and treatment for minor surgery. The ICB intends to award this contract to the current provider DMC following the direct award C route. The service to be provided from 1st November 2025 31st March 2026. The current provider of the Service is meeting the contractual requirements to a satisfactory level and the intention is to award the providers the contract following PSR Direct Award C as there is no change to the contract terms. Contract award is from 24th October 2025.

Other Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 25th October 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. -Representations should be made to : hub.psrrepresentation@nhs.net -The decision to award this contract was made at the NEL ICB Investment Review Group meeting on 25th September 2025. There was no conflict of interest. The evaluation process was as follows: 5 key criteria selected (1) Quality and Innovation (2) Value (3) Integration, collaboration and service sustainability (4) Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice (5) Social value. Each of these criteria applied an equal weighting of 20%. The provider was assessed both for their current performance and potential future performance and scored overall 80% providing evaluator with confidence in their ability to meet the requirements of future contract.
