Description
The London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust ("the Authority") required the provision of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services.The Authority intends to award a contract, following a Direct Award - Process C, in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (“PSR 2023”).
Total Quantity or Scope
The provider (Ambulance Transfers Limited) has been awarded this contract under PSR Direct Award C as it meets the requirements as follows:The Authority believe the current supplier is satisfying the existing contract and will continue to satisfy the new contract to the required standard.The new contracting arrangements are not changing considerably.The Authority is planning to commence a competitive process under PSR 2023 for the provision of the service, and expects a maximum 2 year period to conclude this including satisfaction of Cabinet Office approval requirements.

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 24/10/2025 11:59pm. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR'.

The supplier is not only capable of achieving our requirements but has the management systems and processes including ESG to support the Trust aims and a long term commitment to innovation and sustainability. The Supplier meets the trust's aims of delivery quality and innovation, integration and service delivery and ensuring improvements of access for patients to care services.
