Description

This is a contract with a single supplier to supply specialist labour to deliver vegetation management and fencing maintenance.

Total Quantity or Scope

The scope of this contract will include but not be limited to supply of labour to deliver the activities summarised below. More services can be added to this scope, subject to variation and to the extent permitted under procurement legislation. - Network surveys across all TfL modes on a periodic basis - Application of herbicide where and when required or directed by TfL - Site specific inspections and ground clearance of vegetation - Periodic clearing of vegetation of specified areas on a periodic basis - Treatment and removal of invasive species - Target litter/leaf picking at specified locations such as along embankments - Replanting when and where required - Ensure embankments and tracks and other areas (as directed) are free of vegetation - Clearance of vegetation ahead of major tree works - Shift reports including, but not limited to, unexpected finds of protected species, fly tipping and potential environmental damage - Emergency fencing repairs along trackside infrastructure due to animals - Emergency fence replacements (single panel) as part of a planned renewal or that have been damaged/vandalised
