Description

Velindre University NHS Trust, acting on behalf of the NHS Local Health Boards and Local Authorities listed in section 2.1 of this notice are seeking to refresh an established all-Wales framework consisting of nine (9) Lots for the provision of services to Adults (18+) in Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Care Home / Care Homes with Nursing. The tender is split into the following lots: Care Setting 1: Care home, mental health, without continuous staffing Care Setting 2: Care home, learning disabilities, without continuous staffing Care Setting 3: Care home, mental health & learning disabilities (dual diagnosis), without continuous staffing Care Setting 4: Care home, mental health, with continuous staffing Care Setting 5: Care home, learning disabilities, with continuous staffing Care Setting 6: Care home, mental health & learning disabilities (dual diagnosis), with continuous staffing Care Setting 7: Care home with nursing, mental health, with continuous staffing Care Setting 8: Care home with nursing, learning disabilities, with continuous staffing Care Setting 9: Care home with nursing, mental health & learning disabilities (dual diagnosis), with continuous staffing No volume or value of the required services is guaranteed. The current annual spend on the services is circa GBP 130,000,000.00. The framework will remain open to allow new applicants to apply to join quarterly. The framework will end on 31 March 2026, the option to extend for 24 months from 1 March 2024 has been utilised. NHS Wales Local Health Boards, in collaboration with a number of Welsh Local Authorities (together with the Commissioners), are seeking to refresh the established All-Wales framework agreement for the provision of services by independent providers to Adults (18+) in Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Care Home and Care Homes with Nursing.
