Description

Telford & Wrekin Council (the Council) is responsible for administering of the Disabled Facilities Grant. Where it is chosen by the Client this also includes managing the installation of accessible bathrooms / shower rooms, internal remodelling and ramped access where these are to be funded in whole or part from the grant. All works are within private domestic properties either owned or rented by the grant applicant. Award Criteria

Simple description The Council will invite all Approved Providers on the framework to take part in further competition to bid for specific contracts (Call-Off Contracts) for the Lot they have applied for. During this second stage individual contracts will be awarded. If you have been awarded a place on the framework, there are two ways the Council can procure from it. All the potential Providers on the relevant Lots of the framework will be asked to bid for either (Lot 1) agreed schedule or rates for works identified or quote (Lot 2) for specified works. Where the specification for the works being procured is complex and schedule or rates costs are not applicable Lot 2 bids will be invited Both Lots will be evaluated as below. Criteria Weighting Lot 1 Earliest Start Date Lot 2 Price 100% Whichever route is followed, if successful, a Call-Off Purchase Order will be raised, and a Construction Contract will be issued.
