The provision of environmental controls is one aspect of specialised services to supportpatients with complex disabilities including those with a combination of physical, sensory,intellectual, learning or cognitive disabilities (excluding wheelchairs). Assessment iscarried out by a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) consisting of experienced professionals toensure the appropriateness of prescription for both adults and children.
