Description

The Home Support Service in Kirklees will provide care and support to adults aged 18 and over, who have been assessed to meet the council's eligibility criteria. This includes (but is not limited to) adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, sensory impairment, dementia, learning disability, physical disability, physical ill health, disrupted lifestyle patterns, substance misuse and mental illness. The Service Provider must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and deliver Services in accordance with the registration requirements of the CQC, complying with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines. The estimated value of the Framework is approximately £27,000,000 Framework annual value. Total value including extensions £243,000,000. The anticipated commencement date for the Framework is 22nd June 2026. The anticipated expiry date for the Framework is 21st June 2029, with the option to extend for a further two (2) periods of three (3) years each. The Framework will be established under the Light Touch Regime and therefore the Council will use the flexibilities this affords the Council for example ability to reopen the framework at the Council's discretion.
