Description

Imaging services to be delivered from James Paget University Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), as per Norfolk and Waveney Diagnostic Assessment Centre Programme approved Final Business Case for US and X-Ray. New seven day a week service targets have been set by NHSE from Jan 2025 for CT and MRI. Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board are seeking to increase imaging capacity for MRI, CT, X-ray and NOUS and to provide a separate pathway for adult GP referrals and outpatients. Imaging activity required: • MRI (from one room) • CT (from one room) • X-ray (form one room) • NOUS (from two rooms) Initially, services are expected to run as follows: • MRI - 5 day service, moving to 7 day service in January 2025. • CT - 5 day service, moving to 7 day service in January 2025. • X-Ray - 6 day service • NOUS - 8 days across the two rooms Planned activity will increase over the coming years for all services, to progress towards a 12hr x 7 day basis.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract modification notice, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act Regulations 2024 do not apply to this award. This contract has been formally modified. Modification approved by ICB Executive Director of Finance. No conflicts of interest were declared.
