Description

Design, supply, install and commission a complete turnkey Compressed Air Facility at the GFL site in St Helens, North West England.

Total Quantity or Scope

GFL is looking to appoint a single contractor to design, supply, install and commission a complete turnkey Compressed Air Facility including but not limited to the following: - Design, supply, install and commission the HP and LP air systems comprising of compressors, aftercoolers, filters, dryers, and receivers. - All interconnecting piping and supports for them. - All associated valves, pressure regulators and fittings. - All inlet and outlet cooling and process filtration and ductwork. - Ambient air temperature control - Electrical supplies and control cabling as required to all equipment - Instrumentation and Process Control hardware that is compatible with our Distributed Control System (DCS). - Full technical documentation and drawings. - There is no drain in the Compressor House, so all condensates should feed to a central contained area, complete with a pump supplied to disposed of oil free water to foul drain, located in the Water Treatment Area, outside the west wall of the compressor house. - A proposal for a Total Responsibility Service Package over a period of 10 years from the completion of commissioning of Phases 1, 2 and 3. The equipment, piping systems and electrical systems etc shall be designed and equipped by the Supplier as a complete and operable system in accordance with this specification and referenced documentation. Particular attention should be given to access allowing the maintenance and exchange of whole or component parts of equipment within the confines of the Compressor House. The Vendor shall be responsible for the legal compliance of all packaged components.
