Description

Belfast City Council wishes to set up an Enterprise and Business Growth (EBG) Framework Agreement, which will provide capacity to future proof the delivery of agile and responsive business support solutions, adding value to the existing enterprise and business support provision in place across Belfast, and to any regional provision that is established in future. The EBG requirement will be split into three lots: Lot 1 - Start a Business Lot 2 - Grow a Business Lot 3 - Social Economy Full requirements of each Lot can be found in the tender documents.

Lot Division

1 Start a Business

Summary of Lot 1 Start a Business: - Outreach and awareness raising activity targeting individuals / groups who want to start or grow a business or social enterprise - Assistance for entrepreneurs who want to start a new venture or those with existing businesses less than 6 months trading
2 Grow a Business

Summary of Lot 2 Grow a Business: - Suitable for businesses that have been trading for at least 6 months - Specific help with growth issues that the business doesn’t have the in-house skills or insight to manage.
3 Social Economy

Summary of Lot 3 Social Economy: - Suitable for organisations or individuals who have aspirations to establish enterprises in the social economy sector. - Support includes assistance, advice and guidance to generate ideas, develop a business plan, access learning from peers, workshops and access to finance.

Renewal Options

This contract/Framework Agreement shall be for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for a further year.
