Description

The provision of substance misuse prevention and treatment services for adults and young people. The Adults and Young People services are currently provided under two separate contracts but will be combined into one contract but delivered independently of each other, to provide continuity of care. The Service will deliver the following key elements to young people and adults: • Prevention • Identification and Engagement • Treatment and Recovery • Aftercare and Reintegration Partnership working will be integral particularly in working with the wider health and social care systems. The Provider will work with partners around early identification and intervention as well as aftercare to improve outcomes for service users. Providers must be innovative, flexible, responsive and leaders in the field. They must be forward thinking, adaptable and able to respond to the changing needs and changing landscape of substance misuse treatment and service provision.

Total Quantity or Scope

The London Borough of Bromley is inviting tenders for the provision of a Bromley Substance Misuse Service for both adults and young people who live in the borough. All applications must be made through the London Tenders portal only and not the contact details contained in this notice.

Renewal Options

There is the option to extend the contract for a period of up to three years from 1 April 2029 to 31 March 2032 at the sole discretion of the Council.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** Evaluation of the tender will be based on CIPFA guidance and in full compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and stated criteria. Evaluation of the criteria for quality, etc. will also include the operation of minimum score thresholds. if a proposal receives a score below the required threshold then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. The Council may make use of the contract for further negotiated arrangements to the extent permissible and in compliance with the relevant procurement regulations.
