Description
The service provides a level of community-based direct access non-obstetric ultrasound (NOUS) activity outside of the Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC), as part of an integrated, single NOUS pathway, alongside the CDC. The aims of the service is to aid early diagnostics to be undertaken closer to home; improve access to diagnostic testing; and avoid the need for unnecessary referral to secondary care.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59hrs 24 March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

Provider representations in relation to this intention to award notice should be submitted in writing to hnyicb.procurement@nhs.net This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
