When compared with other areas, the Harrow 0-19 service performs very well. In the latest year that national and regional comparator data is available, the data shows that Harrow is one of only two boroughs in London that are green for all postnatal mandated health visitor reviews even though spend per capita is one of the lowest in London. School Nursing performance data is also excellent e.g. 95% participation rate in 23-24 for Reception National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP); 88% coverage for vision screening; 85% of schools last year achieved Asthma Friendly Schools status. The service has very high user satisfaction rates from our survey of parents, for example all respondents (100%) found the New Birth Visit somewhat, very or extremely useful (71% found it extremely or very useful; 29% found it somewhat useful). For School Nursing, 75% of respondents said the service provided by the school nursing service was ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’. CNWL is very engaged in all partnership meetings in the borough whether that is the Children and Young People Integrated Partnership Board, the SEND Partnership Board, the Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership and others.
