Description

This Planned procurement notice (not a call for competition, the tender documentation is not yet available) is being published to alert the supplier market that ESPO is looking to establish a national framework for the supply and fitting of tyres for cars, LCVs, HGVs and plant and the supply of related ancillary services, including puncture repairs and wheel balancing. The framework is expected to be divided into 3 lots.

Lot Division

1 Light vehicle tyres (premium, mid-range & budget)

Expressions of interest are invited at this stage for a national framework agreement allowing for the provision, replacement and repair of tyres for a comprehensive range of vehicles. Lot 1 is for the provision of premium, mid-range & budget tyres for cars and light commercial vehicles.
2 Heavy vehicle tyres (premium, mid-range and budget/remould for steer, driving and trailer) and plant tyres (premium and budget)

Expressions of interest are invited at this stage for a national framework agreement allowing for the provision, replacement and repair of tyres for a comprehensive range of vehicles. Lot 2 is for the provision of premium, mid-range and budget tyres for heavy goods vehicles and public service vehicles, and premium and budget tyres for plant.
3 Services (for light vehicles, heavy vehicles and plant)

Expressions of interest are invited at this stage for a national framework agreement allowing for the provision, replacement and repair of tyres for a comprehensive range of vehicles. Lot 3 for services including but not limited to the fitting, removal, turning, regrooving of new or remould tyres, as well as balancing, tracking, puncture repair, valve replacement and emergency call out.

Renewal Options

The duration of the framework agreement is expected to be for 24 months, with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months (under normal circumstances extensions will be completed in full, or in 12-month periods, and is subject to the performance of the framework). Total estimated values captured in this notice include the option to extend the framework as noted above.
