Description
The Council is inviting contractors to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Provision of Domiciliary Care Services in Powys. The initial period for the DPS was 10 years, with an option to extend for a further 5 years. However with the introduction of new Procurement Act 2023, there is a requirement for DPS's established under PCR2015 to end by 24th February 2029. The DPS has been paused for a period of review which is now complete and the Council is re-opening the DPS for providers to apply to join. The Council will assemble and maintain an approved list of contractors for the Provision of Domiciliary Care. Providers are required to be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to provide domiciliary support services in the Powys regional partnership area.
